Jail Visitation FAQ

All your questions about visiting our jail answered in one place.

Yes.

You will not be able to visit your family member or friend for the first three days they are incarcerated, possibly longer depending on their circumstances.

All visits are by remote video. Remote visits are conducted using any desktop computer, laptop, smartphone, or tablet. You will need one of the following to complete your visit: Hardware connection, a strong Wi-Fi connection, or a strong cellular data connection. Your family or friend will join the visit from the visiting area inside their respective housing unit. Jail visits are no longer scheduled by jail visiting staff. All visits are handled through Securus.

Securus is an outside company that facilitates visitation for many correctional institutions in the U.S.

Visitors will need to set up an account with Securus in order to schedule a visit.

This can be done by going online to the Securus website securustech.net.

You will need a state issued driver’s license or ID, as well as a current photo to complete the registration.

Current photo must be clear, without sunglasses, and no photos with animations.

Users (Visitors) can take up to 24 hours to be approved and up to 72 hours if it's a weekend. Users are approved every Monday through Friday.

Once a visitor is registered on Securus, the visitor will need to be approved for visits. After approval, they will need to fund an advanced connect account for their party. This will allow the inmate to pick up the phone and call to have a visit.
