Civil Process

The Utah County Sheriff’s Office provides official service (delivery) for all types of civil process. Civil process involves giving legal notice to a defendant to appear before the court or to place the defendant or their property under the court’s jurisdiction.
The Sheriff’s Office does not provide legal forms, templates, or legal advice. For assistance with these items, please visit the Utah State Online Court Assistance Program (OCAP) or contact your attorney.
