Victim Services
The mission of our Victim Services Program is to support and advocate for victims in navigating the aftermath of trauma and crime with dignity and compassion.
Our victim advocates provide assistance to victims of the following crimes:
- Domestic Violence
- Sexual Assault/Rape
- Child Sexual and Physical Abuse
- Adults Abused as Children
- Stalking and Harassment
- Assault/Aggravated Assault
- Robbery
- Elder Abuse
- Robbery
- Homicide or Attempted Homicide
- Suicide or Attempted Suicide
- Sudden Infant Death Syndrome
- Accidental Deaths
- Other crimes
Services provided to victims:
- Assistance with developing a safety plan
- Information about community resources
- Referrals for counseling, support groups, and other social services
- Information about victim legal rights and protections
- Assistance through the criminal justice system
- Assistance with protective orders and stalking injunctions
- Assistance with shelter referrals and other housing resources
- Assistance with reparations for expenses incurred as a result of the crime
- Education about domestic violence, sexual assault, and other types of victimization
